This is a real classic …manufactured by the Kuhlmann drafting machine division in Germany with German attention to detail throughout the unit. Available for immediate pick up, this desk (32″ X 42″ X 31.5″ high) is an ordinary desk surface with a fold up top which allows access to a lift up adjustable drawing board complete with an original (very old) Franz Kuhlmann drafting machine. Drawing storage is designed into the frame of the desk and all storage and drawer components can be padlocked for security. What a find ! I have to admit that I have never before seen one of these in my 40 years of being involved in the design industry. A wonderful piece to use as is or for display in a professional office ! Currently sharing space with an architect, but our lease is up so I am looking to share space with another design firm. Prefer an office arrangement with comfortable separation but not isolated. More than a single workstation, about 125 sq ft, if possible but configuration would also be important. The usual modern business conveniences as well: Internet, windows for light and air, and parking. A single-person office with the ability to accommodate a second person would be good. Ideally between Arbutus and Commercial, and 16th to False Creek. Comfort and workability are most important. Cost counts, too. Required by end of June 2013.

I have a mint copy of the ARE (Architect Registration Exam) Review Manual. This book has no notes or markings in it and hasn’t even been cracked – I’ve decided to take the EXAC exam instead so no longer need it. I paid just over $250 for it new, taxes in, and am selling it for $200 obo.
