Acton Ostry Architects Inc.

Acton Ostry Architects is a leading Canadian design practice recognized for the creation of eloquent and innovative community, public institutional, and mixed-use residential buildings. Established in 1992, our work incorporates new and emerging technologies in the making of innovative and inspiring architecture that responds thoughtfully to local topography, climate, culture, and lessons learned from buildings from the past. Our experience includes a wide range of feasibility studies, facility programming, building design, interior design and master planning. We view the practice of architecture as a process of rigorous, team-oriented collaboration that values consideration of design that is without willful extravagance. Our 35-member design studio currently includes two principals, two associate principals and three associates, with a goal to grow and expand. We primarily utilize a Mac-based Vectorworks platform supplemented with Sketch-Up.
