dys architecture is an established mid-sized architectural firm with offices in the Armory district of Vancouver focusing on Architecture, Planning and Urban Design. We are a collaborative studio based practice with a diverse mix of project types including market residential, non-market residential, health care, institutional and commercial. We are committed to providing the best possible service to our clients while striving for excellence in all we do. We are currently looking for senior technical staff to assist us on a number of projects.

Job Description:

  • 5 – 10 years’ experience with an emphasis on larger projects
  • Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
  • Highly proficient in AutoCAD. Revit and/or Sketch-up proficiency an asset.
  • Experience in all phases of design with an emphasis on working drawings and contract administration.
  • Strong understanding of building technology with a thorough understanding of construction detailing.
  • Self-directed with the ability to both work in and lead project teams, maintaining project goals within budgets.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Familiarity dealing with clients, consultants, contractors and authorities having jurisdiction.
  • LEED and/or Passive House accreditation/experience desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Must be registered or eligible to register with AIBC.
